Saturday the 19th of September 14.00 – 15.30 Join Paul Holt from the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership who is site manager at Samphire Hoe for a guided walk discovering the history of the area. From the creation of the railway line, the early Channel Tunnel attempts and the first coal mine in Kent. Hear the voices from the past of the people who lived and worked in the dramatic landscape of the white cliffs. Meet outside the Education Shelter.
Access to the site is free but there is a parking charge of a maximum of £3.00 all day.
