Steve Marland will be leading a Stockport Stroll with a one hour walk starting at Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery taking in several of the town's exceptional architectural site including Stopford House, the Hat Works and Alan Boyson's Merseyway car park screen. We will finish the walk at Stockroom where you can view the Marvel from Marple exhibition, view Boyson's work and learn more about Stockport and Merseyways history.
This is collaboration between Stockroom, Stockport War Memorial Gallery and the Hat Works as part of the Heritage Open Weekend and as part of programme of events & activities surrounding The Marvel from Marple Exhibition. The Marvel from Marple is funded by the Henry Moore Foundation and Stockroom, and developed in partnership with Stockport Council and Sheffield Hallam University.
