Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Oldham Open Day

Oldham has been home to a Swaminarayan temple since 1977, when the local Hindu community renovated a building on Lee Street to create a place of worship. The current temple on Copster Hill Road opened in August 2022, providing a modern and welcoming space for worship, community gatherings and cultural activities.
Visitors are invited to drop in, learn more about Hinduism, explore the temple's history and architecture, and meet members of the local Hindu community. Whether you are curious about the faith, interested in the building, or simply looking to experience a place of peace and reflection, all are welcome.
