Standing proudly as the country's last remaining Temperance Hall still being used for its original purpose, come and learn more about this magnificent building and the people who have shaped it.

Southport Temperance Institute was built as a refuge from the storms of life and a beacon to those looking for light through education , opportunity and activity. With its impressive façade, magnificent ballroom, and fascinating history, this event is not one to be missed! Join us on Sunday 13th and 20th September from 2 - 4pm. There will be special live performances in the ballroom from 2 till 3 and art displays depicting the building. We'll also have members of the society on hand to share their stories and more of the building's history.

Directions:
The Temperance Institute is located opposite the car park for Southport train station. Cars can be parked for 2 hours free at Central 12 (Asda car park) or the NCP car park across the road offers parking (please check all signage)
