Visit St Andrew's Church, tour the church tower and come to a presentation on how the church was 're-ordered' between 1997 and 2005.

Open afternoons on Saturday 13th and 20th from 2pm to 4.30pm. There will be tours of the tower, a wonderful opportunity for photos from the top! At 2:30 and 3:30 Philip German, of builders FW German and Sons will talk on "The re-ordering of St Andrew's Church from 1997 - 2005".

The church has a long history – the chancel dates back to the 12th century with some Norman remains. The east window is nineteenth century, by A.W.N Pugin, but the surrounding original stonework is unchanged. Extensive works in the 19th century included the raising of the originally small tower to 115 ft, and work in the 2000s by architect Ptolemy Dean featured the setting up of The Pavilions at the west end of the church.
Refreshments will be available.
