St. Josephs Church, 10 Willowbank Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH42 7JY
St. Joseph’s Church is a fine example of Edmund Kirby’s work. The exterior is red pressed brick with a roof of Westmoreland Green slate. The interior, redecorated in 1984, is bold, colourful and richly patterned with lots of natural light.
The Stations of the Cross are a particular feature.
