St Jude's Church is delighted to invite you to step inside the doors of the grade 2 listed building for Heritage Open Day 2025. Saturday 20th September 10-2p.m.

Heritage Open Day offers the opportunity to come inside the doors of this grade 2 listed landmark building. St Jude's sits on the corner of Savile Park Moor in Halifax and will be open on Saturday 20th September between 10.00a.m. and 2.00 p.m. The Church serves the local community of Savile Park, providing worship and spiritual growth.
The Church was designed by Mr W. Swinden Barber of Halifax, and the design of the 85ft tower was exhibited at the Royal Academy. The building was consecrated on the 13th of November 1890.
A visit to St Jude's will also give an opportunity to see "The Boy David" statue, sculpted by local sculptor Jocelyn Horner. Some Church registers will be available to view along with historical documents from St Jude's , St Mary's, St James's and St Augustine's.
Guides will be on hand to answer questions and information leaflets will be available. Coffee and cakes will be available for a small donation.
