St Lawrence Church in Barlow, has been a place of worship and at the centre of village life since the 12th century. Come and see an exhibition of the Church and village history throughout the centuries.

St Lawrence Church is a place of worship that has undergone a few changes over the centuries, but essentially the body of the church remains from the 12th century. It still has an active role in the life of the village with services being held every Sunday plus extra services at significant times of year. The Church also runs several fund raising events throughout the year, including the very popular Flower Festival and Christmas Tree Festival. This is our first year of taking part in the Heritage Open Days and we are looking forward to sharing the history of our very special Church and the village it serves. Our dedicated team of volunteers will be around to welcome visitors and serve refreshments on the day.
