During the Heritage Days, our guests will see features around Theme of the festival, namely, 'Daily Histories'. They will see Fr. Aloysius Bukenya, displaying aspects of his daily history, he was once a stage actor and teacher. His personal programme of life, as guitar Bassist, his personal history in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and now England where is a parish priest, and his life as a member of the Religious Missionary Institute of the Apostles of Jesus There will be opportunities to tour the semi gothic Church of St Mary and St Benedict that was built in 1893 and interact with aspects of its past and present.
There is an opportunity for the guests to participate in activities such as the Monday Club of the Elderly and participate in the Fun of Bingo on 14th September starting at 1pm. For this the guests will punctual, they are expected to contribute £3. They will interact with a centenarian who in the Italian wilds escaped a bullet from the German Nazis. They will witness her answering questions of primary school children aged 8 - 10 years old.
There will be opportunities to watch African fauna and fora from a screen, African dances of women who attractively move their bodies whole carrying more than 6 pots on their heads.
There will be opportunities to pray and interact with a multilingual musical style in worship at 11.30am on Sunday 13th and 20th September. These events harmonise with the theme of the season: Daily Histories.
