The Anglican Chapel was restored and opened as an event venue in 2022, with new interpretation throughout the wider cemetery. Drop in to view the space and find out the stories of some of the ordinary people buried in the Cemetery.

The Anglican Chapel survives basically unaltered since its construction in 1847 and is a significant building in a Norman Romanesque style. Get a fascinating insight into the history of the chapel designed by architect Joseph Paxton, set in the wider Charterhouse Heritage Park landscape. This is an opportunity to explore the fascinating Victorian heritage of Coventry alongside appreciating the arboretum in all its glory. There will be walking tours of the Cemetery and Coventry Family History Society will be in the Chapel with information about the location of graves in the Cemetery.
