The church is normally open only for services, so here is a rare opportunity to explore this Northern Arts and Crafts movement building. Try your hand at helping to create a 'Well Dressing', a local tradition. There will be a display about Well Dressing as well as the image of the 2017 Well Dressing created to celebrate the Centenary of this Church. There will be a short talk by local resident Sheila Morris about growing up and living in the vicinity of Market Street in the past 80 years on Saturday 12th September (3.00-3.30pm) See the list of the early marriage records many of which were local women and Canadian Servicemen.
