A chance to visit a beautiful Victorian church which has served the community of Worcester Park and Cuddington, Surrey, since 1895, and see displays about the church's 130-year history, and architecture in Cuddington and Worcester Park.

An opportunity to visit St Mary's Church, designed by local architect John Alick Thomas, replacing a temporary iron church which in turn, after a gap of over 300 years, had replaced the medieval Cuddington Church demolished by Henry VIII to make way for Nonsuch Palace. A free leaflet points out some of the features of the building with its Victorian and modern stained glass. A special display will tell the story of the church and its congregation year by year, marking the 130th anniversary of the opening of the present church building, and there will be a small exhibition titled 2,000 years of architecture in Cuddington and Worcester Park. Visitors will be able to enjoy music played on the organ installed by Henry Willis and Sons in 1896, including works by Bruce Steane who was organist at St Mary's in c1898-1900.
