St Paul’s Church was opened in 1839. Designed by Tattersall and built to serve the mill town community of Stalybridge. Beautiful stained glass windows by outstanding artists of the Victorian era. Grade II listed. Family history advice available.

St Paul’s Church remains at the centre of its community and we welcome anyone who wishes to visit, see our lovely stained glass windows, learn more about the history of the area and get advice on starting your own family history journey. There will be our famous Saturday cafe open serving bacon butties, home made cakes and great tea and coffee.
