Visit the medieval, former church of St Peter Parmentergate, home to the 1623 Berney-Hobart monument. You will be able to view the 15th century font, which will be uncovered for the day.

St Peter Parmentergate is one of 18 repurposed, medieval churches cared for by the Norwich Historic Churches Trust. With origins in the Saxon period, the majority of the fabric standing today dates from the 1400s. Highlights include the 1623 Berney Hobart monument, lion font, choir stalls, and 1889 reredos depicting the last supper.

The building reopened in 2022 as a skatepark and skate school, run by Community East CIC. The skatepark has been designed to fit in with the original architecture, creating an interesting and unique space.
