St.Peter’s The White Church Warmsworth
St.Peter’s Church, 187 Warmsworth Road, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN4 0TW
Discover the only church in England to be built and consecrated during World War II.
Built in the Italianate style offering a very distinct architecture and painted white, it is affectionately known as The White Church by the communities of Warmsworth and Balby.
The church is undergoing the first stages of a lengthy restoration project to bring it back to its former glory for the faithful and regular congregation and communities who use this space.
We hope to have the archived records on show to the public which are usually kept in Doncaster archives and there will be an exhibition of textile and embroidery work in church.
Refreshments will be available in the adjacent church hall.
Everyone welcome.

We do have level access through the side door but there are steps inside the building to access the sanctuary and narthex but the nave is all level.
