Discover how the people of Lindley lived, what work they did, games they played and how the area looked!

Come curious and leave inspired! Refreshments will be available together with historical artefacts local people have loaned. We hope to have oral histories from local people to share too, together with games people used to play, and activities suitable for children. Everyone is welcome at St Stephen's to explore the beautiful Grade II listed church built in 1829.

Everyone visiting is invited to have a go at sketching. No pressure, no experience needed—just come along and enjoy being creative in a relaxed and inspiring setting. You can sketch objects which people have loaned or whatever catches your eye, with local artists offering gentle guidance in small groups (around 4 people). Materials will be provided or bring your own if you prefer.

Whether you leave with a finished sketch, some knowledge about Lindley’s history, or just a smile, this is all about having fun, trying something new, and enjoying a day out in a truly special place.
