St Swithun's Church, 30 High Street, Sandy, Bedfordshire, SG19 1AQ
Our church has a gravel path and the main entrance has a ramp to the main area of the church. Those with accessibility needs may drive up the path to the church door, however parking by the door may not be available on the day. The toilets are down a step in the church rooms, if you require access please let us know and we can open the fire exit on the Rectory side. The church has a mostly smooth, old stone floor which has natural wear causing some unevenness & steps up to the chancel. The Tower is unsuitable for any additional accessibility needs due to it's construction in the 13th century.
This event is being run in conjunction with our annual Bike 'n' Hike for the Historic Churches Trust. A self-guided tour will be available all day. The international heritage cafe will serve a selection of sweet treats showcasing our community's international and diverse heritage. All activities/cafe will be free, but donation points will be available.
