Why not join the Sandy Wellbeing Walkers on Wednesday 16 September at 10.00 am to explore the history behind the shops situated on the High Street in Sandy.

On Wednesday 16 September Richard Barlow from the Sandy Historical Research Group and Cathy Bailey from the Sandy Wellbeing Walkers will be leading a Heritage Days walk and talk on the history of Sandy High Street shops. There will be an opportunity to sample a Bedfordshire Clanger from Gunn's Bakery. You will be warmly welcomed by the Wellbeing Walkers who meet at 10.00 am outside the Post Office (SG19 1HU) in the Market Square next to the grandstand. Parking is available in the public car park (SG19 1AG) situated off the High Street. Public toilets are located in the car park. Do join us at 10.00 am on Wednesday 16 September. The event will end at Sandy Library also located in the Market Square. Refreshments are available in the library for a small charge.
