Starting close to Iron Age Round Houses (and a World War Two POW Camp) we shall explore the heritage around us as we walk along Ermine Street (a Roman Road) to its crossing point of the River Welland at the so called Boudica Ford.

A fascination walk and talk.

Browne's Hospital is a late medieval Almshouses, built by a rich wool merchant, William Browne, in 1475. The wonderful 15th Century glass has recently been cleaned and protected by external glazing by Barley Studios of York.
