Standen's Hidden Garden Gems

Join our Head Gardener at Standen who will lead walking tours of the Garden, lasting about an hour each. This unique tour will take in the history, present and future of the Garden including some areas that have been closed since 2020 as well as the Secret Pond which has never been open to the public. Please note that the tour will go through the Orchard which contains active bee hives.

Limited timed tickets are available. Book your space for the tour on a first come, first served basis on the day.

By road 2 miles south of East Grinstead, signposted from town centre and B2110 (Turners Hill Road) Parking: free, 200 yards from reception, cafe, house and shop By train East Grinstead mainline station 2 miles away. Taxi rank at station. By bus from East Grinstead station to Crawley (passing Three Bridges station), Metrobus service 84 alight at the end of drive, ½ mile walk to entrance along drive. No service on Sundays. Cycling NCN21, 1¼ miles

Garden is on a slope. Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for being in the garden, to walk along pathways which may be muddy.
