Coventry Police Museum

Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, West Midlands, CV1 5RR

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Learn about the history of policing in Coventry, by some of the officers who helped police it.

The Coventry Police Museum first opened in 1957, at Little Park Street, now Coventry Central Police Station. It closed in 2020, but West Midlands Police Museum supported a ‘pop up’ museum as part of Coventry’s UK City of Culture celebrations.

Now the museum has found a new, permanent home, at the Coventry Council House.

It’s staffed by a team of volunteers, many of them are retired Coventry police officers. They’re happy to answer any questions and tell you stories from their service.

We look forward to seeing you there.
