Explore a church shaped by several congregations, discover the journey of its historic stained glass and join an hourly walk revealing stories from its graveyard.

Step inside Brierley Hill Methodist Church and discover a place shaped by faith, fellowship and generations of community life.

Learn how several local churches and congregations came together to form the Methodist Church visitors see today, and explore features preserved from earlier buildings, including the original stained glass.

Tours of the church will reveal more about its history, its chapel and its continuing place within Brierley Hill. The church remains an active community hub, hosting groups, activities and events that bring local people together throughout the year.

Hourly guided graveyard walks will introduce some of the fascinating people laid to rest here. Their stories reach from Brierley Hill into national life and across the world, encompassing notable local figures, sporting history and the spread of Methodism overseas.

The church will be open from 10am until 3pm, with graveyard walks taking place on the hour. Tea, coffee and a warm welcome will be available throughout the day.

This event forms part of the wider Brierley Hill Heritage Open Day programme, with more historic venues, exhibitions and activities to discover across the town.
