An exploration of everyday histories through the rich stories taken from personal diaries in our collections. Visit behind-the-scenes and see how we conserve and preserve over 900 years of Suffolk's history. Get hands on with our diary archive showcase, enjoy talks about the personal stories and people behind some of our favourite diary collections. Also enjoy talks and a temporary exhibition exploring stories and events that we have discovered in these personal archives. Try your hand at the ancient Japanese marbling technique of Suminagashi or paper marbling with our Conservator.
