Sustainably Stored: Behind the scenes at the new Bus Archive building

Unit 4B, Hampton Lovett Industrial Estate, Lovett Road, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 0QG

Join our archivist for a tour of the Bus Archive's new collections store opened in 2024 using passive architectural principles.

The Bus Archive is dedicated to the collection and preservation of records, photographs, publications and publicity for the road passenger transport industries – bus, coach, trolleybus and tram – and making these freely available to the public for research and education. For Heritage Open Days 2025 we are opening up our collections store and work areas, usually closed to the public, to highlight the strong environmental credentials of our new building, how we monitor and care for our archive and highlight some treasures from our collections.
