- Finding The Great Hall - Address: The Castle, Castle Ave, Winchester SO23 8UJ. This postcode will take you elsewhere, so please use SO23 8TP to find the Westgate pub on the mini roundabout at the end of Castle Avenue.
Please note, there is no parking at The Great Hall. The nearest car park is only a 3-4 minutes’ walk away though - Tower Street Multi-storey. https://www.winchester.gov.uk/parking/parking-and-car-parks. To use the park and ride, the nearest park and ride bus stop is Westgate, which is a 2 minute walk to the Great Hall.
We are also only a 10-minute walk from Winchester Railway Station. To find The Great Hall on foot, use postcode SO23 8TP to get to the mini roundabout by the Westgate pub, walk up the cobbled Castle Avenue with the Register Office on your left, past 2 white barriers (you can walk around them). The hall will be right in front of you across the courtyard.

Accessibility details
The stone floor inside and cobbled ground outside the hall is uneven and care should be taken. Lift access required for shop, toilets and cafe.
Additional information
The Great Hall is 800 years old and cannot be heated or cooled. Please dress for the weather, despite being inside!
