Dr FT Bond was the first Medical Officer of Health for the combined sanitary District of Gloucestershire. This talk by Gloucester Guide Rose McDowell covers his medical career including during the Smallpox epidemic. Further it covers his many inventions, his cheesemaking and how he introduced the telephone to Gloucester. He is a somewhat forgotten worthy of early 20th century Gloucester.
