Arthur Edward Cogswell was a prominent architect and draughtsman in the Portsmouth and Southsea areas and was responsible for many of the iconic landmark buildings which can still be seen around the city today.

John Marshallsay will talk about the life and works of A E Cogswell and his impact on Portsmouth.

Also on display will be a selection of original paintings by local artists from the Bedhampton Historical Collection and a rolling digital presentation compiled by the volunteers who look after the Bedhampton Historical Collection of a selection of the historic buildings in Old Bedhampton which may be viewed before and after the talk.

Refreshments will be available before and after the talks
