Join Pontefract Civic Society on a walk on Newgate to consider the past, and then into St Joseph's church.

The tour will start on the town side of Jubilee Way, crossing it via the footbridge and consider the changes to this area of Tanshelf, over the past 150 years. Hear about a number of important buildings across the centuries, which were important aspects of the town's life.
A guide will be on hand to talk about St Joseph's church and to assist with your enjoyment of its wonderful interior.
