Taylor Park - Pictures from the Past
Taylor Park Visitor Centre, Grosvenor Road, St Helens, Merseyside, WA10 3HX
Taylor Park has been awarded the Green Flag Award again this year. It is the largest of the town's Victorian parks and was established on land given to St Helens Corporation in 1892 by Samuel Taylor and was officially opened to the public in 1893.
Join Friends of Taylor Park and St Helens Archive Service at the Taylor Park Rangers Hut / Visitor Centre to see historic images, share memories and enjoy a tea or coffee with a beautiful view of the lake from the hut.
We would welcome anyone to bring along their own photographs or stories to share. A no-obligation free digitisation service will be available to use, additionally if you would like to donate original photographs to the borough archive this can be arranged on the day.
This event is made possible thanks to Lottery Players as part of the National Lottery Heritage Fund Creative Underground project, coordinated by St Helens Archive Service.
