The Extraordinary Ordinary - Showcasing Creativity in Sandwell Present and Past

The area of the Black Country now known as Sandwell was known in the Industrial revolution for heavy industry. But out of the smoke and grime there were people producing beautiful decorative items such as stained-glass, studio pottery, enamels and paintings. This exhibition showcases these beautiful items made in what is now Sandwell.
For Heritage Open Days We are getting a few more decorative objects, made in Sandwell out of the collection to put on display for you to enjoy

There is a platform lift to the first floor and the accessible toilet is in the first floor corridor. There are Blue Badge parking spots in the car park next to the museum.
