The Fishermen’s Hospital was built in 1702 for Decayed Fishermen. It provided a home for 20 poor fishermen and their wives.
The cottages were individual rooms with a large open fireplace for cooking and heating. There was a sleeping area in the attic accessible by a spiral staircase or rope ladder. There were earth closets and a water pump available.
Today we provide low-cost housing for local individuals 7 cottages have a lounge 1 bedroom, is a bedsit and one of which is our Office.
Tours will take place at 11am and 2pm each day we are open. Please book online.

The Courtyard is dog friendly; however, animals are not permitted into the Cottage. The Courtyard is wheelchair accessible only.
