The Home Front - Guided Walk

Hertford welcomed evacuees from London and soldiers to the town. People were urged to “Dig for Victory”, “Make Do and Mend” and fund raise for planes and warships. Volunteers joined the Home Guard and ARP. But people found time to enjoy themselves at the cinema and concerts.
