Discover how Corsham has commemorated its courageous men of the past.

St Bartholomew's has a long association with military service and a deep commitment to remember whose who served their country in war. Nigel Jackson will give a 45-minute talk based on his book, The Military Memorials of St Bartholomew's Church - Commemorations of Courageous Men, at 2pm. Participants will then be welcome to take a self-guided tour of the memorials. Come and discover the stories behind the bravery, commitment and sacrifice of the men who are so modestly commemorated at the church.

Two other talks/tours are being run at St Bart's: Behind the Needle, on 14 September, tells the stories behind the church kneelers, and a Guided Tour to look at the architecture and history of the church takes place on 16 September. Head to the specific entries for both to book your place.

St Bartholomew's Church is normally open daily for visitors from 0900 -1700 (except when a service is taking place).
