The Rest House (part of Bournville Heritage Open Day)

The design of the Rest House is taken from a medieval butter market in Dunster, Somerset and recreated in his own style by architect William Alexander Harvey, as part of the garden village of Bournville.
This year, the Rest House will house a special exhibition marking the 125th anniversary of Bournville Village Trust's founding in 1900. The exhibition is titled 'The Museum of Us' and explores the lived experiences of those who have contributed to its' unique heritage, highlighting some of the people, objects, and events that have made it what it is today.

The Rest House is in the centre of Bournville village green. The building has level access but uneven floors. The nearest toilets are located at Selly Manor Museum.
