The Sealed Knot Living History Tent

Step back in time with members of The Sealed Knot re-enactment society as they present Sergeant Major General James Carr's Regiment of Foote, who will be stationed in the gardens of the Corsham Almshouses as a special Heritage Open Days event for the town's annual Street Fair. Discover what life was like for those fighting in the English Civil War (1642-1651) and those that followed them in the Living History tent. There will be short talks at 1pm on Weaponry (no firing) and 3pm on Clothing, with ongoing show and tell and dressing-up opportunities throughout the afternoon.
