Thornton: history and local bird life

Because of the local reservoir the site is visited by many species of birds. On display in St Peter's church will be information regarding these birds.
There will also be exhibitions of the history of the village of Thornton and the church. The church is grade 1 listed and dates from 14th century.

There is 80 yard path and then 6 steps down into the church. There is no off road parking close to the church.
