Thornton: History and local bird life

Because of the local reservoir, the site is visited by many species of birds. Information about these birds will be on display in St Peter's church.
The church is grade I listed and dates from 14th century Original features are still visible.

There is 80 yard path and then 6 steps down into the church. There is no off road parking close to the church.

Refreshments available. Old fashioned sweet stall and souvenirs. Entry is free.
