The history of the village will be displayed in church, alongside information of the local bird life.

Because of the local reservoir the site is visited by many species of birds. On display in St Peter's church will be information regarding these birds.
There will also be exhibitions of the history of the village of Thornton and the church. The church is grade 1 listed and dates from 14th century.
Original features are still visible.
