A Tour through the Deanery Tower
St Marys Church, Church Street, Hadleigh, Suffolk, IP7 5DT
The Deanery Tower is more than just a fine early brick building. It played its part in the difficult days of the Protestant Martyrs and later the forming of the Oxford movement, which argued for the re-instatement of some older Christian traditions. Access is via a stone spiral staircase and needs to be taken with care.

The age of the tower means that access to each floor is via a stone spiral staircase and so it is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
