You'll get to investigate all the nooks and crannies and find out more about Tudor builders, building techniques and special features. This will be an all age tour, suitable for children aged over 7 years old. Children will receive a building investigators tick list to record all the architectural features they spot along the way. You'll see a Tudor embossed plaster ceiling, wattle and daub, a beautiful quatre-foil decorated bressumer beam, a jetty and much more! Our 16th century house does not have a lift and access to the first floor is by stairs only.

We have a wheelchair ramp which gives access to the museum cafe but there is no lift access to the first floor Tudor rooms and the doorways to the Tavern on the ground floor are very narrow.
