Vintage Bus Tour

Take the vintage bus for a tour of the town or a trip out to Gaywood to visit King Edward the Seventh School and St.Faith's. Go in the other direction to the South Gate and to Hardwick Cemetery.

New this year - Fancy a longer trip on one of our vintage buses? New this year is a regular service to All Saints Church, North Runcton, a place with strong links to two great sons of Lynn: Henry Bell and Samuel Gurney Cresswell.

Meet the bus at the King’s Staithe Square where Samuel, one of the first to transverse the Northwest Passage was born in the Bank House in 1827 and in sight of the Custom House, across the Purfleet and designed by Henry, the multi-talented architect in 1685.
Relive the golden age of travel and ride out to the beautiful and historic church designed and rebuilt by Henry in 1713 and Samuel’s final resting place since 1867.

While you are there look for the place, across the green, where actor Maurice Micklewhite made his first stage performance as a war evacuee.

The Bus Station, King's Staithe Square and Stops around King's Lynn, Town Centre, King's Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 5DQ

Directions:

Buses start from King's Lynn Bus Station but will travel around the King's Lynn Heritage Open Day sites all day and passengers can get on and get off at the designated stops around the town.
