On Sunday 13 September, you can spend the afternoon exploring Fenton House and Garden with free entry in celebration of Heritage Open Days.
Learn about Fenton House's wonderful collections, including our unique collection of early stringed instruments, dating back to the 17th-century, brought to life by our volunteer musicians. Or take a stroll around our horticultural gem of a garden, including an orchard, kitchen garden, rose garden and lawn.
There is no need to book in advance.

Parking can be arranged on site for disabled visitors. Please email us before your visit to set this up: [email protected]. Please note there are steps from the parking area to the house. Ramped access to the ground floor of the house is available but please note that there are stairs to the toilet and upper floor(s), and steps between levels in our garden. Our ground floor is fully accessible, but our upstairs can only be reached via a two-flight staircase. There is also a short flight of stairs between levels in our garden. The paths in our garden are gravel paths.
