Wakefield Cathedral - Tower Tour

Climb the 170 steps up Wakefield Cathedral tower for magnificent views of the city and surrounding countryside. We have the tallest spire in Yorkshire, rising another 94 metres above the top of the tower. You will also get the chance to see our fourteen bells.

Accessibility details
You must be in good health to climb the 170 uneven steps of the narrow medieval stone spiral stairs. Sensible shoes must be worn. Children must be aged 10 or over to participate in the tour. Any young person aged 10 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
