Welcome Home Festival

Whatever your story, we all share a wish to be welcomed home to a place where we can be ourselves, where our story matters. Join us at our Welcome Home festival weekend where we celebrate 'Home' and what it means to us as the Parish church in Wortley and Farnley and its wider community. Come and explore the church building where schools and other community groups will be creating and displaying work alongside the history of the building and a rare opportunity to view archived documents from the churches in Farnley and Wortley , alongside our vision for the future of the building here at St John's. Search for our mice, share with the history of the building and delight in the displays where Welcome Home is interpreted in its myriad forms, then enjoy some refreshments at our pop up café. There'll be lots more to see and do but please come along to share our welcoming and wonderfilled building, its history and its place in the community.
