Wheatley Hill Heritage Centre - Looking at the 1921 Census

1 Cemetery Road, Wheatley Hill, County Durham, DH6 3JZ

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

We will be highlighting 1921 in the village of Wheatley Hill.

We intend to do this by carrying out look-ups for visitors from the 1921 census - Who was living in your house in 1921? Where were your ancestors living in 1921? Who was in their home on the night of the 1921 census.

We will also have a display of notable families in Wheatley Hill in 1921 - their census return and photographs of them.

Our "Who Do you Think They Are?" photo identification tray will also offer visitors to look at images and offer information on them
