This year, we are celebrating the season with our Apple Harvest Weekend! Head to the orchard and kitchen garden to sample and purchase heritage apple varieties, play apple-themed games, and even pick your own fruit. Discover how we grow 12 different apple types on one tree, and learn about the Mander family’s historic orchards, once used by their cook to create seasonal dishes.
Wander through 17 acres of garden glowing with early autumn colour, explore the Woodland Play area, then enjoy a homemade lunch or ice cream at Mander’s Tearoom. Don’t forget to stop by the Old Manor Shop for curds, jams and arts and crafts-inspired gifts.
No booking required. Free entry all weekend. Some orchard activities carry a small cash-only charge.
