Wimborne Minster Chained Library

See and hear about a diverse array of books, including a handwritten manuscript nearly 700 years old, a bible in nine languages and a 1667 book describing ow to build houses safely after the Great fire of London. This is an experience not just for al lovers of books and history but also for the curious. The Chained Library is a the top of the former Treasury Tower in the church of Saint Cuthburga.
Access is via a 26 step spiral staircase. If you are unable to climb the stairs but would like to know more about the library a presentation in Church House is available.
