Wokingham Town Council is looking to celebrate the theme of Everyday Histories with a focus on Wokingham people in the post war decade 1945-1955.

Inside the Town Hall, learn about this period in history with displays and activities for the children.

Outside, our busy market will be open on the day and some themed, costumed activities will be available outside (weather permitting) and other locations in the town will be joining in with historical points of interest. Self and guided tours will be available.

Toilets inside the Town Hall will be available for use on the day. There is one lift inside, offering access to the 1st floor. There is one downstairs room which has a couple of steps into it. If you have any access issues or queries, please get in touch in advance so we can provide further information about the venue and offer advice as necessary.

Additional information

The entrance to the Town Hall is opposite TG Jones (former WH Smith). There is no designated parking on site. There are several public car parks close by, including Cockpit Path carpark, Rose Street car park and Denmark Street car park.
