Wolverton Scarecrow Festival

The Scarecrow Festival is back for September 2026! We would love the residents of Wolverton to get creative and make a scarecrow to be displayed outside of their property over the weekend of the 12th and 13th of September. Previous ideas have included Postman Pat, robots, Minions, burglars climbing up drain pipes – but the theme is entirely up to the residents.

The walking route normally encompasses these streets:
- Green Lane
- Moon Street
- Victoria Street
- Osbourne Street
- Buckingham Street
- Aylesbury Street
- Oxford Street
- Western Road
- Eton Crescent
- Peel Road
- Windsor Street
- Cambridge Street
- Church Street

However, this is not a complete list, and we would welcome any other streets to get involved.

A good but optional starting point: The Community Orchard, Woburn Avenue, Wolverton, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK12 5AY

Directions:

A good place to start would be Wolverton Community Orchard, alleyway off Woburn Ave, Wolverton, Milton Keynes MK12 5AY as refreshments will be served here. Alternatively you could start from Wolverton Square (MK12 5DQ). The scarecrows will be out for the whole weekend of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September Scarecrow location maps will be available at Wolverton Community Orchard’s Autumn Celebration event (off Woburn Ave, Wolverton, MK12 5AY), from 11:00 – 16:00 on Sat 12th, where scarecrow location maps and refreshments are available. Scarecrow maps are also available at The Square, Wolverton from the Town Council stall at the market on Sunday 13th September.
