World of Stories - Kashmiri Gharbaar by Artist Robina Akhtar and Peterborough Presents

Kashmiri Gharbaar is an insight into the daily life of Kashmiri & Pakistani rural customs and traditions. This amazing Installation which will be created outside the front of the Museum, is designed and curated by Robina Akhtar, supported by Peterborough Presents. Inspired by Robina’s grandparents' courtyard and homestead and presented using vibrant collection of South Asian patterns and colours. This is an opportunity to see working craft, share similar memories and capture stories from families, now living in Peterborough, who might wish to share their own family story.
