Your Everyday History
Cresswell Pele Tower, Cresswell, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 5JU
Come along and share your own history, or that of a friend or family, especially if they relate to the local area.
We would love to hear about your adventures, especially if they included breaking into the garden or the tower. Did you work in local industry? What do you remember? What did you love? What did you hate?
People are always telling us about how things have changed, so we've decided to record that change and share it.
Memories of trips or holidays, staying on holiday, finding love, whatever!
We would love to record your stories and illustrate them with any photos or documents you may have. If you have copies you may wish to loan them to us. These could also be shared with the local records centre at Woodhorn or used on site, perhaps being added to our growing library?
We’d also love for people to make use of our library. That’s what it's for, and it contains many really great stories already!
